Spinach Variety Identification System Employing CNN Based Image Processing

Abstract

The pandemic situation has pushed the people to eat health natural foods for increasing immunity. Spinach and green varieties are one of the safest and healthiest foods that can improve the immunity. In this project, a mobile application is developed for identifying the different varieties of spinach employing a trained CNN image processing automata. The training of the CNN module is done in a high performance computing system and the trained module is deployed in the mobile application. New varieties of spinach can be trained and the mobile application updated via internet for future use.
